About calculator.pro

calculator.pro is a set of serious calculators for people who make things: quilters, woodworkers, lifters, archers, pilots, bakers, and the sellers who ship the work. A general calculator site already exists, several times over. This one goes deep on jobs that need several inputs and a result you can take to the cutting table.

The domain ran as a broad calculator from 2013 to 2021. Those old URLs now redirect to a relevant page here, or to the homepage when there is no honest match. Four classic tools — scientific, mortgage, body mass index, and base conversion — exist so the most-linked pages from that era are not dead ends. They are not the front of the shop.

What this site will not do

No ovulation, pregnancy, dosing, or other medical calculators. The old ovulation and pregnancy URLs redirect home. No live currency converter: that needs a rates feed, and a stale rate is worse than none. Those old URLs redirect home too.

How a page is built

The tool is above the fold and already filled in. Change a number and the result moves. Imperial and metric sit on the same form where the trade actually uses both. Diagrams are drawn from the inputs. The formula, a worked example, a reference table, and a short FAQ stay in the HTML so the page is useful with JavaScript off. Share the address bar. It already holds the inputs. Print hides the chrome.

There are no accounts. Inputs are not sent to a server. Fee schedules are constants with a date, checked against the platform’s own page, and written down in methodology.

Privacy, feedback, and the old policy pages

Pages are static. The theme choice and nothing else is stored in this browser. There is no analytics snippet in this build. Older privacy, terms, feedback, and “link to us” URLs land here.
