Iron
Strength and sport calculators
A rate-of-perceived-exertion chart you can load from, three powerlifting scores from the published coefficients, and a bowling sheet that knows a spare from a strike.
RPE Calculator
RPE calculator from the Reactive Training Systems chart. Turn reps and RPE into a percent of one-rep max, or a load into an estimated max.
DOTS Calculator
DOTS, Wilks, Wilks-2, and IPF GL calculator. One total, one body weight, three published scoring formulas.
Bowling Score Calculator
Bowling score calculator for ten-pin. Strikes, spares, and the tenth frame, with a running total.
How these calculators work
The RPE chart is the Reactive Training Systems table: a set of five at RPE 8 is 81.1% of one-rep max. It estimates a max from a set you already lifted, and it turns a target into a load.
DOTS, Wilks, and IPF GL all answer the same question with different math. Body weight and the total go in as kilograms. IPF GL rounds the coefficient to six decimals before multiplying, which is how the federation’s score sheets do it. Bowling follows ten-pin scoring: a strike picks up the next two balls, a spare picks up the next one.
